Free coffee, tea for plus highway users
The free drinks were given to show appreciation for the public support for the highway services provided by PLUS, he added.
Highway users stopping at the PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) Rest and Service Area (RSA) can get free coffee ''o'' and tea ''o'' at the food area of the RSA from 10 pm on June 23 until 26.
PLUS Strategic Communication head Mohd Nizam Ismail said in a statement today the contribution from PLUS and the RSA stall operators was to encourage the public to stop and rest while using the PLUS highway to return to their home town for Hari Raya.
Besides the RSA, free coffee ''o'' and tea ''o'' could also be obtained at the Juru Lay-by (southbound), Nilai Lay-by (both directions) and Simpang Pulau Lay-by (southbound)," he said.
However, the free drinks were not provided at the Restoran Jejantas Sungai Buloh, Restoran Jejantas Ayer Keroh, Restoran Jenjantas Penanti (Butterworth-Kulim Highway), Mambau RSA (both directions) and the Gelang Patah RSA (both directions).
The free drinks were given to show appreciation for the public support for the highway services provided by PLUS, he added.
