The Selangor Umno Complaint Committee has set this Sunday for the party wings in three divisions in the state to conduct fresh elections.
They are the Petaling Jaya Selatan (PJS) Wanita wing and the Sepang Youth and Puteri wings, its chairman, Datuk Seri Noh Omar said Tuesday.
He said the Gombak Wanita wing was also instructed to conduct a fresh election on Nov 3.
The decision for the affected divisions to conduct fresh election was made following complaints from candidates and delegates who were not happy with the results of their elections held on Oct 12.
"The elections will be handled by the State Umno Election Committee and will involve all posts.
"We will issue a notice for the party wings in the affected divisions to conduct fresh elections, expected this Thursday, and to give the delegates' lists," he added.
