Friday Fives: Most interesting cars at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show
As you know, we were invited to the Bangkok International Motor Show as Subaru’s special guest to view the new Forester facelift, but that didn’t stop us from going around for a “quick” look-see around the massive hall.
“Massive” is an understatement when it comes to the IMPACT Challenger hall by the way. It had taken this Content Producer two full hours to get from one end of the car booths to the other and that did not include the motorcycle booths, accessories and after-market business booths.
The two hours were well spent as I sussed out five of the most beautiful cars at the show that even if you tried, you wouldn’t be able to ignore them.
No.5 Subaru Viziv This is not the first time that Subaru has previewed the Viziv concept to the world but it is a show stopper even though the Forester was supposed to be the star of the show.
No.4 Honda Civic 10th Generation Everybody is gripping the edge of their seats waiting for the brand new Honda Civic to come to our shores. We all know that the current version on sale on our shores is not the most exciting C-segment sedan you can get, neither is the looks so everybody is excited to finally witness the Civic’s rebirth!
No.3 Rolls-Royce Dawn It was extremely hard to decide who should be the first as all these three cars were a sight to behold and very British. But unfortunately pick I must, so the Rolls-Royce Dawn had to settle for third. The Dawn is the start of a new era for the marque and if you like the Wraith, then you will love the Dawn even more!
No.2 Aston Martin DB11 Say hello to the DB11, beautiful is an understatement when it comes to this car, and powerful too with a V12 5.2-litre twin turbo hidden under that bonnet. An Aston Martin has never looked as beautiful as this.
No.1 Aston Martin DB10 You must be wondering that after the DB11, is there another car that could beat it? Well there is, and it is none other than the 11’s sibling the DB10. This car looks like a shark, and we have a sneaking suspicion that the DB11 displayed next to it was finished in orange just to snap your attention away from this beautiful specimen. But there is no way on earth you would drag your attention away from this car!
