Fuel prices down effective January 1

The retail prices of RON95, RON97 and diesel were reduced by 10 sen, 20 sen and 30 sen respectively after midnight tonight.

The new price of RON95 petrol will be RM1.85 per litre compared to RM1.95 earlier while RON97 will be priced RM2.25 per litre, said Petronas Petrol Station Operators Association president Khairul Annuar Abdul Aziz.

"The price of diesel went down by 30 sen to RM1.60 per litre from RM1.90 earlier," he said when contacted by Bernama tonight.

The drop was in line with the fall in global crude oil prices.
