Fully clothed skeletal remains found at Padang Rengas
Kuala Kangsar District Deputy Police Deputy Superintendent Azry Akmar Ayob said the remains were spotted by a gardener who found the remains inside a plastic bag behind the bushes.
Police found a fully clothed skeletal remains, believed to be of a man, under a bridge nearby Gunung Pondok, Padang Rengas on Wednesday morning.
Kuala Kangsar District Deputy Police Deputy Superintendent Azry Akmar Ayob said the remains were spotted by a gardener who found the remains inside a plastic bag behind the bushes.
“Based on initial investigations on the victim’s shirt and pants, we suspect the victim to be a man, but we cannot confirm this yet.
“We only found a knife beneath the skeletal remains and no identifications were found on the victim,” he added when contacted by Astro AWANI today.

Azry said post-mortem will be carried out to provide a conclusive cause of death.
However, he said the gardener had not stumbled upon any remains when he was mowing the area on November 16.
"The remains will be sent to the Forensic Department at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh for identification.
"For time being, we will classify it as a sudden death and further investigations will be carried out," he said.
