Gambling: 500 nabbed, 3,353 computers confiscated last week

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) detained 500 individuals in connection with gambling activities in operations conducted throughout the country last week.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said all the arrests were made by Bukit Aman's Special Tactical Squad Anti-Vice, Gambling and Gangsterism (STAGG).
He said during the operations, police also seized 3,353 computers and congratulated the STAGG team for its success.
"Congratulations STAGG @PDRMsia for shaking up gamblers through the country all last week. Arresting 500 people and seizing 3,353 computers. #GoPDRMGo," Khalid said in a posting on his official Twitter account.
Khalid said during the same period, STAGG also arrested 575 guest relations officers (GROs) and masseuses in nation-wide operations.
"Congratulations again to STAGG @PDRMsia for shaking the world of vice in the country last week, arresting 575 GROs and masseuses. #GoPDRMGo," he said in another Twitter posting.
