PH candidate vying for the Labuan parliamentary seat Datuk Dr Ramli Tahir, said the manifesto had been thoroughly discussed among the PH component parties and is aimed at addressing the issues plaguing the people for decades.
"We are not trying to be a champion, but we want to help resolve the issues that have dragged on for over a decade.
"The people's well-being and the island's development will remain to be PH's focus...we want the welfare of the people to be our top priority and ensure economic growth on this island," he told a press conference here today.
He said one of the critical issues was water supply disruption that has been long unresolved and the need to build a reserve water tank in all villages as backup.
Dr Ramli who is Labuan Parti Amanah division head is facing a six-cornered fight against incumbent, Labuan Warisan chief Datuk Rozman Isli, Datuk Bashir Alias (Barisan Nasional), Datuk Suhaili Abd Rahman (Perikatan Nasional), Dayang Rusimah @ Raynie Datuk Mohd Din of Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) and Datuk Seri Ramle Mat Daly representing Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang).
Labuan has 44,484 voters, compared to 28,356 in GE14.
