GE15: Annuar promises not to leave my side during campaign, says Marzuani

KOTA BHARU: Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Ketereh parliamentary seat Marzuani Ardila Ariffin said that Tan Sri Annuar Musa promised not to leave her side during the campaigning period for the 15th General Election (GE15).

Marzuani Ardila said Annuar who is also the incumbent Member of Parliament for Ketereh has always supported her, along with the party machinery.

"Tan Sri Annuar Musa has promised me that he will not leave my side because he wants to ensure that this parliamentary seat remains under BN.

"Insya-Allah, I have my own strategy throughout the campaigning period," she told reporters after the nomination process for the Ketereh parliamentary constituency here today.

Earlier, Returning Officer for Ketereh Mohd Anis Hussein announced a four-cornered clash involving Marzuani Ardila (BN-UMNO), Haneef Ibrahim (Putra), Major General (Rtd) Datuk Khlir Mohd Nor (Perikatan Nasional-PAS) and Rahimi L. Muhamud (Pakatan Harapan-PKR).

In GE14, Annuar won the Ketereh seat with a majority of 4,626 votes, defeating his challengers from PAS and PKR.

Meanwhile, PN-PAS candidate, Khlir said he will be campaigning from house to house which he viewed as more effective in trying to win the hearts of Ketereh voters than gathering in large numbers.
