GE15: EC announces results for 112 parliamentary seats

PUTRAJAYA: Based on the results obtained for 112 of the 220 parliamentary seats contested in the 15th general election, as of 12.15 am Sunday, Perikatan Nasional (PN) has won 35 seats, followed by Pakatan Harapan (PH) with 33.
Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh, in announcing this, said the coalition's 35 seats were won through PAS (18 seats) and Bersatu (17).
PH, meanwhile, has won 28 seats so far, with another five more contributed by component party, Sarawak DAP (four seats) and MUDA (one seat).
Abdul Ghani said Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), meanwhile, won 20 seats, Barisan Nasional (BN) (16), Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) (four), Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) (two) while Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) and an Independent candidate won one seat each.
Contests for two parliamentary seats have also been postponed, namely Padang Serai in Kedah after PH candidate, M.Karupaiya died on Wednesday, while the Baram seat in Sarawak has been deferred due to bad weather.
"Results will be announced periodically," Abdul Ghani said.
