GE15: Kelantan BN told to focus on targeted voters

MACHANG: With only four days left to campaign, Kelantan Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub has instructed the coalition's candidates for the 15th General Election (GE15) and the party's machinery to focus and approach voters in a targeted manner.
He said electors should be clear about why they should give their votes to BN, which is proven to be able to provide stability and never neglect the people.
"We are looking for victory, not waiting for victory, candidates and machinery need to work hard, we cannot expect victory to come to us without effort," he said when met by reporters near Bukit Tiu, here today.
In GE14, BN won five of the 14 parliamentary seats in Kelantan, namely Machang, Ketereh, Jeli, Tanah Merah and Gua Musang, but lost two seats after that when incumbents Jeli Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed and Datuk Seri Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz of Tanah Merah quit UMNO and join Bersatu.
