GE15: PN to contest all 59 state seats in Perak

IPOH: Perikatan Nasional (PN) today announced it will be contesting all 59 state seats in Perak in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Perak PN secretary Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharudin said Bersatu will vie for 26 seats, while PAS and Gerakan will contest 24 and nine seats respectively.
He said Bersatu will also field three new faces, namely for the Chenderiang, Tualang Sekah and Chenderoh seats.
"The PN candidates comprise various age groups with the youngest candidate, 25-year-old Syed Lukman Hakim Syed Mohd Zin from Bersatu contesting in Chenderoh," he told a press conference after announcing the Perak PN candidate line-up for the GE15 here today.
He said the Chenderiang state seat is to be contested by Bersatu's Mohd Yunus Mohd Yusop in place of incumbent Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu and the Tualang Sekah seat will be contested Pazli Abdullah Sani, also from Bersatu, in place of incumbent Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi.
Zainol Fadzi said he himself will contest in Sungai Manik.
