Genting Highlands Amber Court management taken to task over state of neglect

One of the apartment owners, Frankie Koh, claimed they had been seeking explanation from the management on the presence of a foreign worker quarters at the apartment's covered car park complete with kitchens and toilets as well as a host of other grouses but to no avail.

He bought the unit in 2012 as a weekend home but now many owners had moved out and the price of the apartments had fallen to as low as RM30,000 for a studio unit.

"We hope the authorities such as the Immigration Department and Bentong Municipal Council Building Commissioner will investigate and take actions," he told reporters.

The apartment owners today took up the issue with the management at its annual general meeting which turned rowdy, forcing the current management chairman, Eric Law to leave the meeting.
