The Kelantan government described Gerakan's move to file an application to challenge the validity of hudud law in the Federal Court as extreme.
Deputy Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said PAS would fight all out to ensure that the hudud law could be implemented in Kelantan.
"I'm just wondering why is Gerakan strongly against hudud law as it can be rejected in parliament. Why file a motion in court and make it legal," he told reporters after opening the Kelantan PAS Youth Congress here, Saturday.
Amar, who is also chairman of the Kelantan Syariah Criminal Code II Technical Committee said the Gerakan move made Muslims angry at the party.
"I am worried about the Gerakan attitude as it will give the wrong message to Muslims who will consider the political party as extreme and anti-Islam.
"It is dangerous in the Malaysian political climate. Disagreeing is one thing but to bring it to court is serious," he added.
On Friday, Gerakan filed an application for leave to bring the case to the the Federal Court to challenge the validity of Kelantan's hudud law.
The Kota Baru High Court on May 7 dismissed the Gerakan application to challenge the constitutionality of Kelantan's hudud law passed by the State Assembly on March 19.
