Get health advice at M3 Facebook page

The public can now request for advice and correct information on health issues, including about the necessary vaccination, from a group of medical doctors through Facebook.

They can do so through 'Medical Mythbusters Malaysia (M3), formed by a group of 30 doctors specialising in primary health care.

M3 founder, Dr Mohd Syamirulah Rahim said M3 was formed to counter and respond to various misperception, including myths, on health, and also to provide an alternative venue for the public to seek accurate information on health.

"This initiative is enhanced with the cooperation from the various sectors, especially the Health Ministry and the relevant non-governmental organisations," he told a media conference after the launch of M3 by Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah here Saturday.

Until now M3 has received 22,459 likes.
