Givenchy Takes Madison Avenue

French couture house, Givenchy, opens a flagship store in one of the world’s most well-known fashion capitals of the world, New York City, on prominent Madison Avenue. The new store brings together every facet of the Givenchy brand and showcases its offerings to the public by creating a ‘tailor-made’ atmosphere, syncing the brand’s relationship with the city.

Designed by Riccardo Tisci to mimic a curated art gallery with carefully designed spaces solely dedicated to the French house, the Madison Avenue store is sure to draw an influential and fashionable crowd beyond the ones who frequent the Upper East Side. Oversized images from Givenchy advertising campaigns are used as an understated backdrop in the store to underscore its art house vibe.

The 400m-squared space is arranged across a double-height main floor with a mezzanine floating above the rear, and is fronted by a simple and minimalistic facade. This great store certainly projects the house’s aesthetics and values. Since New York Fashion Week is coming up, make this store one of your must-visit destinations while in the city!
