The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has called up at least 13 witnesses to assist investigations into the case of a government-linked company general manager suspected of receiving more than RM10 million in bribes.
According to a source, among those summoned for their statements to be taken were contractors and external agencies.
"As of yesterday, MACC has called up 13 witnesses to help in investigations into the case.
"MACC will continue to call witnesses until the case is solved," the source, who declined to comment further, told Bernama, today.
Asked if MACC would make more arrests, the source said the likelihood was very high. -- BERNAMA
