Gone too soon: Six Malaysian students overseas killed in eight days

These six students were killed in various unfortunate events.
They were the few lucky ones, given the opportunity to experience life abroad as a student. Their return was highly anticipated, but fate clearly had another plan. Tragedy struck and they left this world, taking with them the future that was once shining so bright.
Astro AWANI remembers these six gifted youths who were called upon to meet their Creator too soon.
JORDAN, JANUARY 23, 2016
Fatin Ikmal Izyani Che Aziz, Hana' Azaha and Al Najiatun Nailah Mohd Shafie, third year students of Mu'tah University, Amman, were killed in a road accident at Safawi, near Mafraq. They were reportedly on their way to Mafraq for an outreach programme.

The Kelantan state government and MWAIP were reported to have financed the cost of bringing the remains of the students home.
FRANCE, JANUARY 24, 2016
A student at University of Nantes, Affiah Ariffin Hew was critically injured in a skiing accident in Nice, on January 22. She passed away two days later, with her family by her side.
LONDON, JANUARY 27 2016
The city was busy as ever when Londoners were rushing back home after work when Muhamad Aaron Maseri who was strolling down Marble Arch Station, was killed after being hit by a train. Aaron was on his way home from his university campus, Middlesex University.
INDIA, JANUARY 27 2016
Public Service Department-sponsored medical student, S. Uthaya Kumar, died when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in an accident with a bus in Chitradurga, Karnataka. He was a third year student at Manipal Medical College.
Police have since detained a private bus driver to facilitate investigations into an accident.

Uthaya Kumar was riding pillion on a motorcycle ridden by a local student when the incident happened.
The Indian student was killed on the spot, while Uthaya was reported to have succumbed to his injuries on the way to a hospital in Chiradurga, about 250km from Bangalore, Karnataka.
