The Putrajaya Youth Festival 2015 is seen as successful, based on the encouraging response and participation from young people coming from all over the country.
Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the different events from the usual held this time included boxing and silat which attracted large numbers of youths to the three-day festival beginning last Friday.
He said more interesting was the opportunity and space given to youths to showcase their talent through various programmes organised by Rakan Muda.
"The response was very good. There were many sites holding various activities which were packed with visitors from morning till night," he said during a walkabout at the festival held at Dataran Gemilang in Precinct 4 here Sunday.

Khairy hoped that the talent displayed by the youths at the festival did not just end there, but be further developed through the Rakan Muda programme.
"Those with a huge talent could use the platform to obtain a government grant to carry out activities to promote their talent without the need to go through the Youth Department or certain associations," he said.
