Google Doodle, conceptualized in 1998, even before the search engine company got incorporated features spontaneous changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of prominent public figures, artistes, pioneers and even scientists.
Today, Google Malaysia pays tribute to the late Yasmin Ahmad by celebrating her 56th birthday with a Google Doodle of the renowned film director on their homepage. The water-coloured sketch of Yasmin Ahmad's portrait with a string of symbolic innuendos that describe her effervescent charateristics and her graceful efforts in projecting unity in all races through films and television.
