Google to rival Apple & Microsoft with new gadgets

Google is set to unveil several interesting gadgets ahead of Halloween.

The Next Web reported that Google distributed an internal video with details of what will be revealed during its much awaited event on Oct 29.

Apparently, among the gadgets that will be featured during the event include a 32GB version of the Nexus 7 tablet, a collaboration with Samsung to release a 10-inch tablet called “Nexus 10” that will run Android 4.2 and a Nexus smartphone manufactured by LG.

Google’s announcement is seen as ‘timely’ as Apple Inc is scheduled to reveal a new machine – widely believed to be a 7.85-inch iPad – tomorrow while Microsoft is preparing for its Windows Phone 8 launch on Oct 29.
