The government has expressed appreciation to the mosque committees and all congregants who have successfully complied with Friday prayer’s implementation guidelines yesterday.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, he had received positive feedback from the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) who had been monitoring the mass prayer.
“From the PDRM report, Alhamdulillah all mosques in the Federal Territory comply with the SOP. In addition, the PDRM also reported the monitoring of the District Police Chiefs found mosques nationwide had complied with the SOP. Thanks to the PDRM members involved.
"Congratulations to the entire mosque committees and all the congregants," he said.
Yesterday was the first day the mosques in the Federal Territory opened for Friday prayer's with one-third the actual capacity.
