Govt will be fair in taking action against Yellow Shirts or Red shirts - DPM

Action will be taken against any group that has violated the law in particular the Peaceful Assembly Act, said Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
He said the government will not compromise no matter if they are yellow shirts or Red shirts.
"The government will be fair and we will take action regardless of the colour. If there is any party that violated the law especially the Peaceful Assembly Act, action will be taken. We will abide by the law," he told reporters at Parliament lobby today.
Asked on the Red Shirts leader Datuk Jamal Md Yunus claims that Bersih has links with Daish, Ahmad Zahid said he does not have any information on the matter.
Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Bersih 2.0) steering committee chairman Maria Chin Abdullah had filed a lawsuit Sungai Besar UMNO division chief Datuk Jamal Md Yunus for associating her with terrorist group, Daish.
On Oct 8, a group of men in red shirts threw eggs on two men wearing Bersih T-shirts.
Three journalists from a local newspaper were roughed up while covering a Bersih 5 convoy in Kuala Selangor on Oct 15.
The men were believed to be members of the Red Shirts, a group led by Jamal.
A video clip on the incident about 6pm, in front of the entrance of a supermarket in Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor had since gone viral on social media.
Police have since detained three men in connection with the incident.
