The Federation of Peninsular Malay Students (GPMS) will set up a GPMS Leadership College to train and develop youth leaders who are dynamic and capable of contributing positively to society.
GPMS president Zambri Mohd Isa said the institution would be a platform for youths to be trained as future leaders.
"GPMS will prepare the modules and provide the trainers who will include former GPMS leaders," he said at a press conference, Saturday.
Zambri said the college's first session was expected to begin in March with an intake of 80 students and classes would be held on Saturdays and Sundays.
Through this initiative, GPMS hopes to develop young leaders who are knowledgeable, patriotic and adept at talking on various issues and prepared to be leaders of the next generation.
