Great deals on new Forester display units

Fancy a new Subaru Forester but find the asking price of a brand spanking new unit a few cents over your piggy bank? Motor Image Malaysia, the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia is putting some of their display units on sale with huge discounts.

The new Forester is locally assembled and was launched in April. Motor Image has put the display units from the launch, roadshow and showroom on sale priced at RM119, 800 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM122,261 for East Malaysia. Both prices are on-the-road excluding insurance.

Two variants of the Forester are sold here; the Forester 2.0i and the Forester 2.0i-P, and both are powered by the FB20 2.0-litre four-cylinder boxer engine. Power is sent to all four wheels via the marque’s trademark Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) that provides stability and excellent traction in wet and muddy conditions.

Safety is also paramount in the design of Subaru vehicles and in that respect, the Forester is equipped with seven airbags and the usual array of electronic safety nannies to the pointed end on the straight and narrow. The platform consists if a ring-shaped frame that provides improved protection from cabin intrusion in the event of an accident.

Each Subaru sold comes with a factory warranty of five years and three years free service from the point of registration.

Buyers will have a choice of five colours available to them; Pure White, Ice Silver Metallic, Sepia Bronze Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic and Obsidian Black Pearl but with the offer encompassing limited units, snooze and you may lose your favourite colour.
