Gymnast Farah fires back at critics

National gymnast Farah Ann Abdul Hadi who was criticised for her revealing clothes at the SEA games, had hit back at her critics on Twitter.

"Empty cans make the most noise," she tweeted.

Earlier, Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin had called on the critics to leave the gymnast alone.

In gymnastics Farah wowed the judges and brought home gold. In her deeds only the Almighty judges her. Not you. Leave our athletes alone.

The 21-year-old gymnast was criticised by certain quarters for her clothes, described as too revealing and for not covering up her modesty (aurat).
