Handphone salesmen, customers fight in Kota Raya Complex

A fight broke out between a group of men, believed to be handphone salesmen and customers, in the Kota Raya shopping complex here today.
A two-and-a-half minute video clip of the fight has since been uploaded onto YouTube.
The video shows several men fighting with salesmen at a handphone shop, with some throwing chairs at the premises.
The clip also showed a man in a blue shirt, believed to be a salesman, lying on the floor, covering his face with his hands.
Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad, when contacted, confirmed the incident, saying that it occurred at 4.55pm.
"It is being investigated," he said.
According to online media reports, the complex management had temporarily closed the premises today following the incident.
