Haron Din passes away at 76 in San Francisco

PAS spiritual leader Datuk Dr Haron Din passed away today at 10.05am, according to party information chief Nasruddin Hassan.

Earlier, Dr Haron's passing was announced on his official Facebook page.

Dr Haron was reported to be in critical condition and had been admitted at a hospital in San Franciso, California.

It was understood that Dr Haron flew to the States few days ago to undergo a treatment for his heart condition.

He was said to be suffering from heart complications and has been placed at the intensive care unit (ICU).

Religious speaker Ustaz Ahmad Dusuki Abd Rani on his Facebook last night said the hospital has contacted Dr Haron's family members to inform that he had been transferred to the ICU and asked them to come over.
