Haron Din wished to be buried where he dies - Shukri
Dr Haron Din passed away today (Friday) at 10.05am at Stanford Hospital in San Francisco, California after he slipped into a coma due to heart complications.
The late Datuk Dr Haron Din has requested for him to be buried in the United States, if it was fated that he passed away there.
The PAS spiritual leader made the request to his family members and friends at the Darrusyifa centre in Kangar, Perlis before leaving for treatment on September 10.
Perlis PAS Commissioner Mohd Shukri Ramli said he made the request as a 'preparation' as he would be undergoing his sixth coronary surgery.
"We will conduct a prayer for him (Dr Haron) at the PAS Perlis Complex in Kangar tonight," said Shukri.

Dr Haron was reported to be in critical condition and flew to the States few days ago to undergo a treatment.
