The 16-year-old teenager who was reported missing after entering an allegedly haunted bungalow dubbed 'Villa Nabila' in Johor Baharu, was found today.
The matter was confirmed by the police through its Twitter account as well as the Royal Malaysian Police's (PDRM) Facebook page.
Police confirmed that Mohamad Izzat Izzudin Hussin was found at the Desa Mutiara 4 flats in Johor Baharu early Tuesday morning.
The Star Online reported that Mohamad Izzat was found at his friend’s house and that the former forgot to tell his mother, Norhayati Mohamad, 39, about it.
Norhayati at first had thought that her son was kidnapped by 'spirits' in the haunted house.
"He never went missing like this before.. now, I feel relieved," The Star Online quoted her as saying.
The teenager was reported missing after he was seen entering the abandoned bungalow on Saturday.
According to reports, a group 30 other teenagers were also said to have gone missing after entering the same building.
However, police have denied the incident which happened near Danga Bay, Johor Baharu.
Recently, an online tourism website had listed Danga Bay as among the top five most haunted places in the world due to its location near the villa itself.
The bungalow is located on a hill facing the Straits of Johor.
