KUALA LUMPUR:The Meteorological Department of Malaysia (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather alert for heavy rain expected to take place in the east coast today until tomorrow.
MetMalaysia in a statement today said areas involved in Kelantan are Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai.
Alert level weather warning was also issued for Terengganu and several areas in Pahang namely Maran, Kuantan, Bera and Rompin.
