Here’s your official invite to Mercedes-Benz Urban Hunting club

Mercedes-Benz’s Urban Hunting campaign has officially entered Phase 2. Now that, with the help of the Foursome KL, they have taken over the urban art scene with their Urban Hunting Art, they are set to take over the music scene: Urban Hunting Music!

Just in case you’ve missed it, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has teamed up with three out of four artists that form the art collective known as Foursome KL to reinterpret their artwork onto three of Mercedes-Benz’s car: the A-Class, CLA 200 and GLA 250. Thus began the journey for artists Orkibal, Donald Abraham and Fritilldea to create their own blend of Urban Hunting Street art.

Mercedes-Benz and art– who would have thought that graffiti-ed Mercedes-Benz cars could become eye-popping art-pieces that have roamed the streets of Malaysia. You’ve seen the cars; you know what we’re talking about.

But just in case you’ve just come out from under the sheets, Mercedes-Benz have partners with three of the four very talented artists from the collective known as Foursome KL. From the collective, artists Orkibal, Donald Abraham and Fritilldea splashed paint on the metal surfaces of the A-Class, CLA 200 and the GLA 250 into unique works of art. The cars are part of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s Urban Hunting Art campaign and you can get up to speed here.

Now that Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has their foot-hold in the street art scene, it is time for Phase 1 to move into Phase 2 by bringing the art to the music. For Phase 2, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia will be teaming up with Club Hitz to bring you Urban Hunting Music, which is five-part club-night series that you are invited to enjoy thumping beats and arm-waving-in-the-air hits with local celebrities.

The first part of the Urban Hunting Music campaign has already kicked off at Cuvee, Penang where Jakeman and Skeletor lead the pack of DJs that also includes Leng Yein and Point Blanc. JinnyBoy and Michelle Lee made special appearances as well that night to rock the house down with everybody in attendance!

If you’ve missed the first session in Penang, don’t worry, there are still a number of club sessions you can join. To find out where the Urban Hunting Music crew will be heading be sure to stay tuned to CAR Malaysia and Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s Instagram accounts for updates of where the next location Urban Hunting Music will play!

What’s more, if you haven’t gotten acquainted with the Urban Hunting Art cars, the club is the perfect chance to get to know them as all three art cars will be in attendance. There will also be a contest running in parallel to the event. All you need to do is snap a picture of yourself at the event, hashtag #MYUrbanHunting, show it to one of the Urban Hunting Team and you will be able to win yourself a swag bag filled with exclusive Mercedes-Benz merchandise.
