Hermoine Falls For The Beast

Today Potterheads rejoice as their much-loved bookworm and heroine Hermoine, Emma Watson gets to play Belle, another very famous bookworm (diversity). It just makes absolute sense that UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson will star as Belle in Disney's live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast. The actress shared the exciting news herself this morning on Facebook.

"I'm finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast!" she wrote on her Facebook. "It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'. My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it. Emma xx"



Amazing! We can totally see the Harry Potter starlet go from witchy booklover Hermione to musically inclined booklover Belle. The film joins movies like the forthcoming Cinderella in the live-action fairytale trend and will start production later this year and set to be directed by The Twilight Saga franchise's Bill Condon. Now the million dollar question is! Who will play the Beast? (Jamie Dornan or Theo James – yes?) And should we start the Joe Manganiello for the burly, 5-dozen eggs eating Gaston campaign today right?
