High-speed rail: The 'Cube' on the right track

China HSR known as ‘Cube’, a design equipped with state-of-the-art technology including simulator, multiple class seats and interactive electronic screens with Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

The experience will become a reference to HSR Kuala Lumpur-Singapore project, one of the Earlier Project (EPP) aimed to improve the dynamics of Malaysian economics in becoming a liveable global city.

Launched by SPAD chairman Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar, the event was witnessed by China High Commissioner, Huang Huikang. Also present were Prasarana Malaysia Berhad president, group CEO Azmi Abdul Aziz and Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) group managing director Mohamad Salim Fateh Din.

The High Speed Rail has achieved several milestones in the infrastructure system, high-speed train, safety, transport integration hub and updated technology to function as a wholesome and sophisticated mode of transportation.

Thirty-seven surveillance systems including train monitoring system, background operation, and natural disaster alarm system are also part of the sophisticated system of China HSR operations.

The HSR simulator is opened to public at KL Sentral for three months.
