KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein is on a working visit to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement yesterday, said Hishammuddin is scheduled to hold a meeting last night with his UAE counterpart on bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern of both countries.
This working visit comes after the conclusion of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s official visit to Indonesia recently and is held in full compliance with the strict COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOP) put in place by the UAE government.
