The Home Ministry is drawing up a National Strategic Plan to Fight Drug Abuse to be used as reference to ensure a more coordinated action to fight the menace.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the ministry said it welcomed views, suggestions and ideas from any quarters to fight drug abuse and to improve the existing programmes, as well as treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts.

They can sent their views, suggestions and ideas to email address at [email protected], it said.

The ministry said at least eight ministries, the relevant government agencies and non-governmental organisations would be involved in workshops and discussions in preparing the matter.
