Honda’s calling the HR-V their Compact SUV representative but we’re getting a crossover vibe from it than anything. By Jerrica LeongFebruary couldn’t come faster even though we are only just getting used to signing off the dates with a five at the end rather than a four. But with the HR-V launching that month we just hope that time would move faster just so we can get our hands on Honda’s phenomenal Compact SUV.
It’s a fusion of a little of everything from every segment of cars. The HR-V was described to have comfort from a Minivan, qualities of an SUV and the excitement of a coupe.
What are the features of this new compact SUV? Here are a few notable details of the Honda HR-V:
- The HR-V is powered by a 1.8L i-VTEC SOHC engine built on a new Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology that enhances both driving performance and fuel economy.
- The front face is designed to look bold and tough with unified stylish front grille that's created under the 'Solid Wing Face' concept.
- Electric Parking Brake that replaces the hand/foot brake. The HR-V also comes with the new Automatic Brake Hold.
- Its smart interface features include a 7-inch Display Audio and One Touch Turn Signal. The Touch Panel Air Conditioning isn’t our favourite feature but it’s here in the HR-V as well.
