KUALA LUMPUR: The spike in COVID-19 cases in the country is indeed a concern for many. This month alone, the spread of the killer virus has once again rose to four digits.
More worryingly, many new clusters were also starting to emerge, especially involving individuals who have just returned from Sabah.
Most recently, a tweet uploaded by the Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on his official Twitter account became the focus among Malaysians.
In the tweet, he who was reacting to a topic seemed to give the impression that the Movement Control Order (MCO) needs to be re-implemented, following the spike of COVID-19 cases.
"What if we all sit at home for a while again?," he tweeted when replying to his followers' statement on Twitter.
As of this writing, the upload has received over 3,000 retweets and likes.
For general information, the last time Malaysia recorded more than one thousand active cases was in June.
However, it jumped again after the Sabah State Election (PRN) was held at the end of last month.
Although, there has not been any official statement regarding the tweet he uploaded, to some extent it made Malaysians think that he was dropping a hint.
