Below is a step by step guide on how to embed your PDF file.
- Login to your Gmail first at https://mail.google.com/
- Then go to Google Drive at https://drive.google.com/
- Click + New then click File Upload
- Select your PDF file and click Open button
- In your Google Drive file list, right click on your newly uploaded file
- Click Share
- You can see a text that reads: “Restricted. Only people added can open with this link” and “Change to anyone with the link”
- Click at “Change to anyone with the link” - to change the sharing permission, then click Done
- Double click your uploaded file to preview the PDF in Google Drive
- Go to top right, click at an ellipsis (three vertical dots) then click Open in new window
- You can see your PDF open up on new tab/window
- Look at Right Top, click at an ellipsis (three vertical dots) , and click Embed item…
- Copy the code inside the text area and paste into your website.
