HSA fire: Post-mortems done, bodies claimed by families

The post-mortems on the six patients who were killed in the fire incident at the Intensive Care Unit of the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here today have been completed, according to a source at the hospital's Forensics Department.
The bodies of four of the victims - K. Logeswaran, 20; Choo Lin Fung, 37; Tow Ah Wah, 60; and Yusuf Hasan, 53, - had been claimed much earlier by their respective families for funeral arrangements, the source said.
"The post-mortems on the bodies of the two other victims, M. Kaliama, 23, and C. Neeramala Devi, 24, were completed at 9pm and released to their next-of-kin," the source added.
The remains of Neeramala are to be brought back to her hometown, Ladang St Helier, Bahau, Negeri Sembilan tonight while Kaliama's were brought to her home in Kangkar Pulai here. -- BERNAMA
