Hyundai’s new Training Academy
Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) is proud to announce the opening of their second training facility right here in Malaysia. The Hyundai Training Academy (HTA) is located in Mutiara Damansara and is fully equipped with Hyundai’s newest dealership space identity standards.
The HTA is an integral part of the education and training program for both sales consultants and service advisors looking to join the Hyundai family. The training modules provided at the facility includes sales, service, warranty and parts operations. There are also a number of recognition programs for Technicians to hone their skills as a specialist.
Measuring a total of 17,965 square feet, the HTA will be providing training for not just Malaysian Hyundai Distributors' trainers but for 32 other countries located in the Asia Pacific region as well. Trainees are required to sit through in-dealer simulations through the practical training environment and the online training equipment such as remote vehicle diagnosis tool and video conference system for remote training.
To head the HTA, Hyundai Motor Company HQ have sent down four experienced and certified local training professionals to manage training operations on a regular basis. “The opening of the new training facility represents a long-term commitment by Hyundai to our customers to ensure they receive the best possible service. From the first contact with our customers at our showrooms and throughout the ownership experience, customer satisfaction is our primary focus,” said Mr Park Sang-Min, Head of Asia & Pacific Regional Headquarters, HMC.
The launch of the Hyundai Asia Pacific Training Academy was held in conjunction with the launch of the new Hyundai Tucson.
