"I may be thin but I am no coward" - Jokowi

Indonesian Presidential candidate Joko Widodo or Jokowi today warned his critics that he would not tolerate attempts to tarnish his reputation by raising negative issues.

The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) leader said this was not the time for such attempts because it would be a waste of time since he would challenge every malicious accusations hurled at him.

He said he had identified 23 issues that were raised to 'attack' him ahead of the 2014 presidential election on July 9.

"Just because I am thin, don't think I am coward. Do not try me if you don't know me," he said to a thunderous applause from his supporters during a campaign at the Kubu Raya district in West Kalimantan, today.

Jokowi was also glad that no such slanderous issues have been spread in Kubu Raya and urged the people in the district to reject such news.
