Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng expressed disappointment over Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Shabudin Yahaya's decision in not accepting his invitation for a one-on-one meeting regarding the purchase of a two-storey bungalow.
To this, Lim said he will send a letter to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) asking the anti-graft body to investigate his bungalow purchase fairly, freely and professionally.
"I was very bit disappointed when Shabudin did not dare to accept my invitation for a one-on-one this morning at my office so he could provide proof of his allegations.
"I am ready to hear what he has to say dan review the evidence that he has," said Lim at a press conference in KOMTAR, on Sunday.
Lim earlier said he was confident that there was no element of corruption in the transaction as certain parties had claimed, which also involved the sale of state government land in Taman Manggis.
He said the claims were malicious and a vicious political attack on him.

Lim on Friday had challenged Shabudin to discuss the issue of the purchase of his bungalow with him face-to-face before the media at his office.
Lim said it was not right to associate the purchase of his house in 2015 with the sale of state government land in Taman Manggis in 2012 when the sale of the land was executed via open competitive tender.
