Schoolgirl loses both legs in hit-and-run accident
A Form One girl lost both her legs after being ran over by a lorry in a hit-and-run accident at Parit 16, Sungai Panjang. Sabak Bernam police chief Supt Nor Azmi Isa said the girl, Siti Nuraisyah Sahrin, and her stepsister, Shamin Amirah Roslan, 14, were on a motorcycle heading home when the mishap occurred at 3 pm.

Nearly 1,000 people gathered at the Kedah UMNO building in support of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Tun Mahathir. They gathered since 8pm to voice support for Mukhriz who was said to be present in the building to attend the Jerlun UMNO Division meeting that night.
