A Royal Malaysian Air Force aircraft made an emergency landing in Pantai Asam Jawa, in Kuala Selangor at 8.50am. The CN235 aircraft, based in Subang was carrying eight crew members when the incident took place.

UMNO has suspended its deputy president, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin from the party effective immediately, said party secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor. The decision was made after the UMNO Supreme Council decisive meeting at the party headquarters at Menara Dato' Onn Kuala Lumpur.
