IGP to meet MARA Chairman at noon today

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed that he will meet Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) chairman, Tan Sri Annuar Musa behind closed doors in Bukit Aman, here at noon today.

Khalid said he does not know the reason or agenda of the meeting.

"I don’t know. He has asked to meet. I was not told the reason. I'm used to receiving many visitors. Anyone who wants to see me can do that.

"So, we'll wait and see," he told reporters at a press conference after a ceremony to present safety helmets to traffic officers organised by Celcom, today.

Rumour was rife that Annuar would meet him concerning the purchase of Dudley International House by MARA's investment arm (MARA Inc.) in Melbourne, Australia.
