Ihsan Perdana which undertakes CSR programmes for 1MDB's charitable foundation, was mentioned in an article published by the Wall Street Journal yesterday.
Ihsan Perdana Sdn Bhd Friday denied transferring money into accounts of individuals including that of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

It said allegations that it transferred money for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes into Najib's personal bank account were baseless.

"The allegations are baseless and lies... I strongly deny any transfer of money into the personal account of the Prime Minister as alleged by media reports," the company's Managing Director Datuk Dr Shamsul Anwar Sulaiman said in a statement today.

Ihsan Perdana which undertakes CSR programmes for 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB)'s charitable foundation, was mentioned in an article published by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) yesterday.

The article had claimed that almost US$700 million in funds from 1MDB went into Najib's personal bank accounts and Ihsan Perdana was among the companies that the money had passed through, citing unnamed investigators.

In refuting the allegations, Dr Shamsul Anwar said the CSR projects carried out by Ihsan Perdana were fully audited and accounted for.
