The Kelantan People's Action Council or Institusi Modenisasi Pemikiran Anak Kelantan (IMPAK) today lodged a police report over the alleged insults of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, who is also the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V and the people of Kelantan.
Its chairman Wan Khairul Ihsan Wan Muhammad said the organisation has urged the police to conduct a thorough examination on all statuses posted over the social media as they feared this could cause tension among the people.
They claimed the statuses were uploaded via 'Arif Senai', 'Tok Abah' and 'Sham Rizal' Facebook accounts.
"Based on information received, the police have recorded statements from the individual using the 'Arif Senai' Facebook account.
"The person however claimed that his account has been used by others," he told reporters after lodging a police report at the Kota Bharu police headquarters here. - BERNAMA
