KUALA LUMPUR: Individuals with a valid work pass or authorisation letter from their employers should be allowed to pass through roadblocks mounted in areas placed under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said police personnel manning the roadblocks should not order those with one of these documents to turn back.
"Those who have to travel to another district for work only need to present their employee pass or letters from their employers and the police should allow them to get through roadblocks," he told a media conference on the development of Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) here today.
He was commenting on a newspaper report that some employees have been ordered to turn back and were not allowed to continue their journey to their office by police personnel manning roadblocks.
Ismail Sabri said the police were not provided with a specific list of jobs that require employees to work in the office or otherwise.
