Infiniti round off a rocking year in 2015

The somewhat quiet yet determined manufacturer Infiniti possibly provided the biggest surprise if 2015, finshing off a global fiscal year with a bang - shifting some 215,250 vehicles. The figure is up 16% from the previous year.Infiniti achieved all-time high results in all of its four global regions - the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Latin America), EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), China, and A&O (Asia and Oceania). Infiniti also kept a good record in the slowing market of China – managing to be the fastest growing marque in the region second time on the trot.

Here’s how the cookie crumbled for Infiniti in 2015.
The Americas: United States -133,500 units (up 14%), Canada – 11,300 units (10% growth), Mexico – 1800 units (23% increment)
China: 40,200 vehicles (up 34%)
Western Europe: 7,000 units (45% increment)
Middle East: +8,300 vehicles (18% growth and one of the fastest growing brands in the region)
A&O Region (Australia, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and other markets): 5700 units (22% growth, Korea recorded highest ever sales in December - 450 units, 177% more Year-On-Year)
In the coming year, Infiniti plans to embark on a major product offensive. Much of this will rely on the premium hatchback Q30 and its stretched and pulled brethren, the QX 30 premium active crossover. In addition, Infiniti will also refresh its QX60 premium crossover in2016 with a comprehensive tech and creature comforts update.
