KUALA LUMPUR: National Intellectual Property Day 2022 is an opportunity for youths to learn how intellectual property can support their goals and help turn their ideas into reality, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said intellectual property could also generate income, create job opportunities and positively impact the global youth community.
"Our youths are the innovators and entrepreneurs of the future. I am confident with their creativity and dexterity, youths across the country have the ability to drive change and carve out a path to a better future for Keluarga Malaysia.
"Innovative Youths, the Malaysian Family Aspirations. Happy National Intellectual Property Day 2022, " he said in a special speech in conjunction with National Intellectual Property Day 2022 which was uploaded on Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia's (MyIPO) Facebook page today.
Ismail Sabri said the youths of today are outstanding in terms of their astuteness and extraordinary creativity, fresh perspective, energy level, deep curiosity and never say die attitude.
He said the group's desire to achieve a better future has paved the way for new innovation approaches.
"Youths hold the key to the country's future. As a multi-racial society that is rapidly moving towards building a united Malaysian Family, the country relies heavily on active, creative and progressive youths," he said.
